southwest opens for business when?/

Hey all!

Just wondering if anyone knows if Southwest Airlines will open right at 1200 midnight to book airfare online when the new window opens up for November? Or do I have to wait until the next morning, and if so what time will it open up? Thanks!

Generally it's around 10 to 11 Central Time before they open. I don't believe they have ever opened the dates at midnight.

What CarolA said, except that there are reports that they opened earlier (i.e. 6:00 a.m.) the last time they opened their schedule. I personally will be trying before 10:00 a.m. CDT just in case.

Last year I was on the computer about an hour before they were to release (or the time we all thought they would be released) and those cheap tickets went sooooooooooooooo fast. I mean I was ready and kept refreshing and checking and still didn't get the cheapest. We were flying home the day after Thanksgiving too. We had no problems getting our flight down because we flew down the week before Thanksgiving. I booked my return first as a one way so I could grab seats fast. Good Luck.
