Starting at 12pm CT, Southwest will be booking through Oct 30th 2010....Finally!

Cool THanks
I was just on there about an hour ago looking and they were still at Aug 13. I can't wait to get our Oct tickets booked.

Just checked they are still only booking through Aug 13. I cleared my cookies, cache, history and all that but still can only get it to book through Aug 13. Oh well. Duh not until 12:00 Got it.

Yeah, I even got a DING that said I could book through October, but when I went to the site, it wasn't updated.

Their marketing department is making promises their website can't keep ;)!

I know when I got the email, I went on to Southwest and same thing, still saying Aug 13th. So re-read the email and noticed it said "12pm CT"

It was a Southwest Click and Save email, subject was "3 Days of Breathtaking Bargains"

I just noticed whilst reading it, they annouced booking through Oct

Holy cow! What is up with the Providence prices?

Thank goodness I booked Jet Blue two weeks ago when it was showing only 2 seats left at $99 going to MCO. I just ran the price for 2 people from Sept 2 to 9 from Providence to MCO... $598.80 for two! I booked Jet Blue from Boston for $438.80 (I know I only get only one free bag per person vs 2 on SWA, but still a much better deal!) Hartford was a little better at $253.10 per person but still not a great deal. Manchester was just as bad as Providence.

I have a $100 Visa gift card expiring soon and was going to pick up a SWA gift card for my Dec trip, plus I got another $25 gift card from Coke rewards. I think I am going to reconsider!

Do the prices go down in time, or is this as good as they'll get?

Prices to vegas for 2 people from Indy is showing about $700....

It is open now, how come the price is so high for the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend?!>!!!

Yeesh, I hope they update the prices. But what's even worse than that are the flights.... is anyone else getting crappy flights? It's only showing 2 flights now for us and both don't get us to Orlando until 7 pm ! YUK!!

Hopefully as time goes on they'll add more flights and lower the prices....does anyone who's familiar w/ SW know if they do this ? or is this it ? :confused3

The key with SWA is to check back often. Their prices and times change all the time. When I started to book our June trip the best deals were $94 with a lay over in Atlanta. Eventually, after checking every day, 2-3 times a day I was able to get direct flights for the times I wanted for only $74 each way. Hang in there.

that's fantastic advice, thank you. I was hoping to get a flight under $ 90 each way, so I'm going to stick it out. thanks!!!

I looked for Manchester also. :scared1::scared1:

Our flights from Houston were over $300 pp. That is really not going to work. I'll keep checking.

We need to book an Aug. trip to Seattle from Dallas for the 5 of us. DH is insisting we fly Southwest. Should we book now and if prices drop can we get a credit? I was thinking of booking one way there, and waiting to book the return flight. (It is questionable which day we have to return.) So if I wait to book the return could I use any credits we receive on that flight? And how big of a hassle is it to get credit?
Thanks
