Southwest lowered the fare for my October trip to 49. I rebooked and have ticketless funds for my next trip. Check out your flight or to book your flight for later this year.
.. it still says all florida travel must be completed by Sept. 30. Everything after that date comes at the regular prices. I would love a quick trip to wdw for halloween and the $49 airfare would be great!
We got the $49 fare on 7/19 after I booked the $69 fare when Dec. opened up on 7/15. now we have a $40 credit for our next trip.
We fly from MHT to MCO...non-stop for $115...you gotta love SWA!!!
I noticed on SW website, they have different options to choose from.
Which one do you go with (refundable, special, restricted, advance purchase, fun or promotional)?
What does it mean that it requires a one night stayover? I also noticed that one states it's a one-way fare. Does that mean you can't choose that option (I think it was fun fare) for a return flight?
How do you know which one to choose? There are too many options for me (hehe) and I'm confused.
Also, if you find it lower, will they refund your credit card? I don't fly every year so if I found a lower rate, an airline credit on a future flight within a year would be of no vallue to me.

I go with the least expensive one.
The one night stay over means you have to stay over at least one night.
They all state one way, when you select your departure and arrival cities the next column asks what your return will be, click on depart/city round trip. Then you will select your flights and it will give you a total price. It is very easy, just follow the prompts.
Sometimes they will refund the difference to your cc and sometimes they won't. You can sell the airfare to someone else if that happens.
One Night Stay:
In other words, you can't fly down and fly back the same day, correct?
Also, do you normally book your rental car on that website or go directly to the companies website?
For the fun of it, I choose Nov 1st date from PHL to MCO and returning on Nov 14. The internet oneway price was $79, while the promotional fare states $79-99. Why would anyone choose the promotional fare if it's more expensive?
