The Baltimore fares for May are still $79. I have a DING fare but don't like that my return flight leaves at 11 AM. I might just book a new return and not show up for the 11 AM if another DING comes out (too bad I will be unable to monitor DING tomorrow). I should have booked one ways, but didn't think about it, and I need to keep the outgoing flight as all decent flight times are gone.
I don't know about July but when I looked at Baltimore last week they had Internet fares marked "$79-109," so I guess it would have depended on which flight you picked.
is way too much. I looked the first day they expanded their dates and for Albany to Orlando they had 73for July Thursday to Thursday. Well my daughter didn't jump on it and she checked Saturday, I think 4 days after and the cheapest is 128 each way. I told her to wait and hopefully something will show up. Hoping that the birthday celebration will include all days not just march. Hoping hoping.
This is the first time, in 2 years, I have EVER NOT seen the $59 category from Providence to Orlando on SW's website - Regardless if it was sold out, unavailable, whatever.
Dan, I'm also surprised that the Internet fare jumped so much in 1 week's time. My brother is supposed to fly into MHT the end of July and is hoping (as I am) that the $59 rate will return. I understand that higher fuel costs are figuring into the rate increase, but this is crazy. Maybe they are just seeing who'll bite for the $104-109 OW tickets!!! Keeping my fingers crossed they come back down - heck, it'll make $79 each way look good!!!

That's just what I'm thinking. We were talking about the rate increase last week at work, and figured maybe a few dollars a ticket. I mean, it's only natural. It's called inflation, and it's totally understandable. But yeah, a 100% increase is nuts.
