SouthWest is offering 50K points Credit Card again

How long did it take for the points to be applied to your account? Hoping to book for this August, but I still need to spend $1000 more dollars on my SW Visa... I want to book ASAP.

It took about 3-4 days after our closing date to get ours. They get applied after the closing date not as soon as you spend the $2,000.

"25,000 bonus points after you spend $1,000 in your first 3 months of opening your account". Am I missing something?!?!

No, it appears they changed the offer back to 25k miles earlier this week.

Hs anyone had success churning this deal multiple times? I did the personal and business and got the 100,000 for me, and did so for the wife as well. Canceled one and my credit score now sits at 800, so don't think it had a neg impact. Think I will be able to apply and get 50,000/100,000 more points next time they do this promo?? For the $$ I am willing to let my credit score dip some. I have no big purchases coming up that would need a loan and am loving these free flights.

The 50k promo points finally showed up in my Chase account Wed and then it took until today to transfer to my SW Rapid Rewards account. So, this morning I was able to book our return flights!

My points are in!!!! Sorta. They are appearing on my credit card rewards summary, but they don't seem to be transferred to my rapid rewards account. I think someone mentioned a day or two delay? I will give customer service a call tomorrow and clarify because I can't wait to book!!!!!!!!!!

They take 4-6 days after the close of your statement for them to appear in your Rapid Rewards account.

I just went through this. After seeing them on my statement I called to find out why they weren't there to use and they said it takes the 4-6 days. Sure enough, my statement closed 3/9 and they showed up today, 3/14!

Thought I would post here too regarding points. Our statement closed the 12th and the points were there this morning so I quickly booked our flights before the price went up! The points price on the flights I wanted went up 3 times yesterday!!!! It was crazy. However I was able to get 4 round trip flights and didn't spend any additional money for points.

My statement closing date was 3/9 and my points were deposited 3/18. Now to get the bonus on my other card and hopefully enough for the companion pass!

Wow. I'm so glad that I checked this tonight. We look to be going after Thanksgiving and so if I can get the premier card for 50K, then that gives me until May 19 to hit the $2000 and receive the RR points so that I can have them when the next window opens up. Was going to apply tonight but I think that I'll sleep on it first.

Do the bonus points definitely count towards the companion pass? I was checking on the rewards site and it says that bonus points don't count towards status levels ie a-list, a-list preferred, companion pass. Confused!
