Southwest has leather seats?

I mourn for the Nauga's that gave up their hydes for those seats. :)

More seriously, I'd rather they got rid of the cattle call boarding process and kept the cheaper seats.

The seats are very comfortable. The leg room is among the best.
As to the cattle call seating mentioned before, it really is not that bad. You have to line up with any airline, so, I don't see that it it is a big deal. An assigned seat is not that important to me when I am saving a ton of money on airfare. They are also not an airline that changes times, cancels flights, or switches your seating around when they do the above. I will put up with the "cattle call" seating for the lower fares and the assurance that (except in an emergency) I will not have the flight time changed or the flight cancelled.
I would be happy if they better regulated the carry ons and the preboards.

Believe it or not, the leather seats are cheaper than the cloth, because they are more durable. The upholstery lasts longer, thus making it possible to go longer between seat refurbishments. Even RyanAir, arguably the most miserly airline on earth, uses leather seat covers.

Those snazzy-looking little "winglets" are a cost-savings, too; they improve fuel efficiency.
