southwest flight change question

I have my DH and I booked for our one way flights to MCO under one confirmation. Now, something has come up at work that requires him to leave later in the day. If at all possible, I would like to keep my same flight. Is it possible to change one flight under a confirmation number without changing the other?

I would call Southwest Air and explain the situation. You should be able to make the change and keep your confirmation number. Your DH may have to pay additional money for the change.

Definitely call Southwest. They should be able to rebook your husband's flight while keeping your reservation.

I did call today and they were able to do it no problem. They first split our reservation into two confirmations and then changed his flight. Thanks for the advice.
