Southwest Flight attendents or comedians?

Fun thread. :)

I haven't flown SW in ages, so I've had the pleasure of listening to FAs on Delta, Alaska, and United the last few years. Like the FA on Delta who mysteriously got a case of the giggles in the middle of the safety spiel yesterday....very odd.

Not sure if it's still the same, but when I've flown Virgin America, they have a *video* (animated) for the safety spiel, and it's pretty darned funny, too! Love the part where a bull shows a matador how to put a seatbelt on. :)

I like the SW flight attendants loose schtick...keeps everyone relaxed. Best one I rememeber is..."Ladies and gentlemen I'd like you all to know that we have an 85 year old gentleman on the plane flying for the first time so let's all give our pilot a big round of applause".:lmao:

On our recent flight to MCO, there was a Delta plane taxing down the runway just as we were. The FA tells us all to look out the window of the plane, and says "We're winning!" and we were! We were slightly ahead of the Delta folks.

The one we like and that we seem to hear the most often is" if you have a connection on SW please look at the overhead screens for your next gate, if you chosen another airline for the rest of your trip, we dont care or you are on your own":lmao:
