Southwest early bird

We paid for online early bird check in and our flight is tomorrow night at 7pm...so how do we know our position and find out? I thought it was 36 hours before but when I go online to check i receive an error message...but I see EB beside our names when I pull up our reservations

I should have added that Southwest assigns your boarding position at 36 hours but you can't see it until 24.

To expand on this.

Although SW checks you in and assigns you a position 36 hours before your flight the website won't let you see your number until 24 hours ahead when everyone else can check in.

So 24 hours before (or any time after that, you dont have to rush since your number isn't going to change based on how early you are) you can log in and follow the same check in process to get your boarding passes. Then you can either send them to your phone (many airports let you have your boarding pass on your phone now), print the boarding passes, or just see what your number is (and wait to print them at the airport).

If your not checking any bags I suggest either having them on your phone or printing them at home so you don't have to go to the SW ticket counter at all. If your checking bags and prefer a paper copy you can just get it at the airport if you prefer since it really doesn't take any longer to get them printed while you get your bags checked.
