Southwest early bird check in

We will be traveling over holidays using SW. If we purchase the early bird check-in, will that cover the entire flight? We have to change planes in St. Louis and am unsure if this would be worth the $70 dollars. Will be traveling with 5 kids (13, 13, 12, 12, and 8) plus my DH and myself.

Yes....even if you connect somplace, you get your boarding pass issued for the entire flight. But, you do have to pay for it again for the return flight.
