Southwest direct from MSP to MCO - 1 stop (where?)

How long was your layover? 30 minutes doesn't seem very long to get everyone off and everyone back on again. We paid for the early bird check in which lets us get on earlier. Do we keep that priority with the layover?

i don't remember the layover the first time. the second time the layover was 45 min. i don't know about the early bird - i've never done it.

I don't see how they could deplane (or why) with a 30 minute stop. Obviously people would have to take their carry ons and then stow them again...that would be very strange (not that I'm doubting the poster who said they did this for a 45 min. stop).

We had to deplane. it wasn't an option to stay on the plane. there was a 45min layover and we did not have to take our carry ons off the plane and then stow them again when we reboarded. I do not find southwest's rule that we had to deplane for the layover very strange or even a little strange. they have their rules and we abide by them.
