Has anyone gotten any SW Dings? I haven't seen any in the last couple days, so I was wondering if my systems was not working or if they just haven't done any lately.

I did get STL to MCO on Saturday for 4 of us for $750, I wish it was a little cheaper, but it beats driving 16 hours with a 5 and 3 year old.

Thanks ::MickeyMo

I get Dinged at least twice a day every day. It sounds like your system isn't working.

I get Dinged twice a day also. Usually it doesn't pop up or anything but I click the little thing that's running in the task bar and it comes up with a message. Most of the Dings expire quickly so be sure to catch them

Could someone tell me what the ST Louis specials for today are?
Thanks maybe I will have to uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks

St. Louis to Boise for $91!
- Fare is valid for travel June 13 through August 30, 2005 only
St. Louis to Orlando for $115!
- Fare is valid for travel June 17 through August 30, 2005 only

Needs to be booked by 2pm CMT -- so it's probably too late for this one.

Is that roundtrip or one way?

It is round trip. Equalled about $187/pp. I just remember in the past years SW running $49 specials (one way). But I haven't seen anything for JULY. THey have a great deal right now (FL. Frenzy) but it expires on June 16th. I uninstalled and reinstalled and its now working.

I also get ding'd twice a day. Last week I got RT airfair from MCO (Midway-Chicago) to Orlando for 4 of us for $418.40! :teeth:

It was certaintly worth signing up for !

I seen that same one, I almost bought that one, but I figured by time we drive to Chicago (5 1/2 hr. drive), it wouldn't have been worth it. I wanted to catch the first plane to MCO, so we would have had to drive up the night before (1 night hotel), so I didn't get it. So I guess $750 from STL isn't too bad. Today they had one from STL to MCO and it would have been almost $1000. SO I am a happy! GOOD DEAL from Chicago thou...

It sure was.... Last week I got the same deal.. 3 of us for $318.80 round trip from MCO also! When are you going? For yesterday it didn't seem to "ding" me so I clicked on it and checked out the latest deal... after that, it's dinging me again.

Nancy :wizard:

We are going July 10 (leaving at 755am) and returning July 15 (725 pm)...we have 3 months and I can hardly wait...

We're going for 2 weeks in July, how about you? You are correct in that sometimes it doesn't seem to "ding" so much, so I click on it to "kick start" it so to speak.

Thanks Taggie. Isn't it great to get a good deal and then see the prices only go up? But - on the other hand - it's rotten to get what you think is a good deal and then have the airfair come down in price! :confused3 Where's STL? If it's a 5-1/2 hour drive I'd have to say somewhere in Minnesota? We have friends up there about 5 hours away also.

If the airfare comes down, you can easily rebook the tickets- one of the great things about swa

You can rebook the tickets? I thought it said nonrefundable. I'll have to check into that.

We live just south of St. Louis (STL). About 40 minutes from the airport.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

They are nonrefundable meaning you cant get all your money back (like cancel the ticket and ask for a refund) but you can certainly save on a flight- They actually love it when you do that!

There have been no dings today so far. I always have to click on the DING in my program files everytime I turn on my computer. Then sometimes it opens automatically and sometimes I just keep checking.

I was able to change our flights in July that was originall $375 for 2, to $275 for 2, from ISP - MCO (Long Island NY to Orlando!

MARGARET,

I uninstalled and reinstalled the DING, and it came up with a Ding.
One of the Dings for St. Louis was Orlando, $115, luckly I booked it already at $85....
