Hi all

Can anyone tell me if Southwest is likely to have another $59 deal again anytime soon? They offered it just a few weeks ago (from the Rhode Island/Maine areas) and I missed it. The lowest fare they offer for me right now is $109, but I'm wondering if anyone is familiar enough with them to know that their better deals are offered at regular intervals. We travel Sept 24th. Think we might find a lower fare between now and then?

Tks for any info.

dings for latter part of september do not seem to be posted yet......

the current ding-a-lings are for travel up until september 24 in most markets....with travel during week days.....but each market may vary slightly from this protocol

just keep checking

maybe ... I had missed a ding for $$ 58 from long island a few weeks ago for July and then got a ding for 51 about a week or so later.

Go to www.southwest.com
There'll be a big "Ding" link near the top of the screen.
Click the link, get information about Dings (SWA's very-short-term discounts, and you need to download the program to your computer)

As a recent convert, I know that sounds like a huge PITA, but trust me, it's worth it. :) The Ding! rates can be VERY cheap. Plus, with Southwest's pricing policy, you can always rebook if you find a cheaper rate before you leave. I just changed my reservation for a trip to the east coast the first week of August (already not terribly expensive) and have $34 to apply to my next Disney trip in February.
