I have about $45 in Southwest credits that expire in January. I am trying to book a trip for May, but it won't accept these credits as they will be expired by then. Can I book a flight for January then change it to May? Help I don't want to lose this money. Thanks!

Nope, the credits must by used by January, then they expire. Even if you book a ticket for before then and then change it, the portion you paid with the credits will expire and be forfeited. Sorry!

No, that doesn't work. Even if you use a $15 credit on a $200 ticket, that entire new ticket will expire on the expiration date of the credit.
