Southwest changing flights

I have two flights booked on southwest ( booked one way both times) for DEC 18 & home 26. I have got credits back from both flights. The one down total for 4 people $180 the one home is $84.
My question is we are going to Florida again in march. JetBlue dropped my date home DEC 26 the to a $104 so I booked it thinking I will just change my sw flight to one of my march flights its a little higher priced so I figure my credit will cover that but every time I try to change the whole reservation it gives me an error message. If I cancel the reservation and rebook would that work?

When did you originally buy the ticket? The credit is good 1 year from the date of purchase.

Did you use credits for the ticket from an earlier flight? Then the expiration date becomes 1 year from that date of purchase. If so, you could be out of time.

Nope I bought them in October with no credits!! I think maybe its the website. But is it because I am changing 4 people at once? It applies the credits from the reservation I am trying to change, $20 each, but I need another $11 per person to cover the rest of the price. But it won't let me apply the confirmation number from the other flight I have credit from.

The online site only allows for 3 credit to be used. To use more than 3 travel fund numbers you have to call SWA

Yes you can use 4 forms of payment to complete the transaction. I ran into this recently.

Thank you. Has anyone else tried to do it on.the website? I can't get it to go through regardless before I even put the confirmation number in for the credit to be applied it says on the bottom of the page it says error please call southwest.
