Southwest carry-on size question

From the website: Southwest Airlines limits carryon bag dimensions to 10 x 16 x 24 inches.

Five of us are flying and I'm trying to figure out which bags to take. I have 2 bags that are exactly 20 x 12 x 11 so, capacity size are technically smaller than the 10 x 16 x 24 but still, not the right size measurement-wise.
I've never flown (except as a kid with parents) so forgive me this possibly stupid question.
Would my 2 bags be allowed as "carry-on"? If not, it's no big deal since SW allows 2 checked bags per ticket holder. I'm just nervous about every detail (being a newbie to air travel) and would just like to know in advance if we will have to check them or can carry them on.

I'm pretty sure those measurements are firm. They have to fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.

That extra inch in length might be enough to keep the overhead bins from closing if you put your bag in wheels first, as you are supposed to do.

OP's bag are shorter in length and width it seems like, but look to be 1" taller. Which I don't think would really matter. I have a bag that's about the same dimensions as OP's and it fits in the overhead compartment with room to spare.

As far as would she be able to use both as a carry-on, probably not. You are only allowed one carry-on and one personal bag. Personal bag would have to fit under the seat in front of you. OP would probably be allowed to carry-on one, but would have to check the other.

OP's bag is not 24" long. It is only 20". 24" is the max length set by SW.

Yup
The only one of the 3 measurements where my bag is over is the 11"..... just 1" over the allowed depth of 10"
The width and height (20x12) are actually UNDER the allowed measurement of 24x16.

Oh well, we will just plan on checking these, I guess.
