Southwest booking through Oct 27 !

The fares from Hartford, CT are still so high!!! Where are the $49 one way fares I used to love!!!!!

Just finished booking my one-way flights. $124 from Providence to MCO -- ouch. I don't think I'll get a Ding for Friday night, but there's hope for the Tuesday return.

$300.00 RT from Denver - EWWWWW

Booked Providence to Orlando on a Wednesday, $94 non-stop, but no internet special on return trip, $124, non-stop, Sunday. Holding out for some summer sales or ding fares, but at least I got exactly the flights I wanted :thumbsup2 .

Just booked Indy to Orlando one way on Oct. 20th. $89 taxes included. I need Oct 28th but they are only booking through the 27th. Guess I'll have to wait for the return flight.

Got the exact flights I wanted too. ISP to MCO $99 each way; more than I wanted, but pretty much what I expected...
At least I can get on with things :sunny:

Will try for a DING fare when they come out.

Just booked Pittsburgh to Orlando for 354.20 for 2 of us. Jumped on it so we would get decent times and non stop flights. $177.10 each doesn't seem too bad to me with some of the other prices I have seen.

I hear you Spereia, dgaston & wdw4us2006! Booked Oct 21 PVD to MCO direct for @$133 one way! Ouch! We have 12 people going. Of course our return date is Oct 28 so I'll have to wait until July for that to open up.

I wonder if it would be cheaper to charter a plane for 12 instead of these rates :sad2:

Is it worth it to book a return and hope for a better ding later and use the credit toward the other half?

Opinions needed ASAP... HELP!!!
Ok I waited for this and for 3 of us out of Manchester to Orlando comes to 796.80, which is 265.60 pp but that is NS flights and Airtran is the same but not NS. SW has great times to fly out and back, just higher than I expected. Should I jump on this? What IF the fares go down?? Do I get credit?? Please cast your opinions, I really value them.

Mom2Casey, just book it. Keep checking religiously, especially as it gets closer, and if the fares go down it is not hard to change it and get credits. You would have to use the credits (which are just the dollar amount of the difference) within a year, however. You never know what can happen, so at least get the flights you want, and non-stop is great (no wondering about holdups at other airports). Just my opinion, as asked!

I got the flights I wanted (N/S) from Baltimore to MCO for $79 each way....$177.10 total per person. Not bad at all :-)

I just got mine! Indy to MCO 9/28, returning 10/1!!! $89 total each way!

I'm glad we decided not to wait for Southwest for our October trip. We would have saved only $10 a ticket compared to our United tickets bought in March.

But my friend is spending less than $200 to fly to LAX and back, non-stop from Baltimore this weekend on Southwest! What a deal!

Lining up in those "corrals" doesn't bother me at all but really aggravates my DH so he pushed me to go for United this trip to WDW.

(Still :) thinking about the cheap $242 flights we got on Southwest to Spokane last summer for our group....which are now $320+).

Just got off the phone with their customer relations and they are having some problems that are causing error and flights showing unavailable when they really are. If you can't get a flight might want to call 214-792-4223 to ensure that they flight is truly not available.

I was able to book my return at 87.44 before taxes from MCO to PVD. I'm going to hold out for the flight down though and hope for a ding.

I priced Raleigh Durham, NC to Orlando and its $207.00 RT

I booked US Air out of charlotte (two hours closer to us) for $207.00 RT in March.

RDU used to spit out $39.00 each way all the time. Guess the days of those are gone!

ok something happened... I seen 265pp but then when I went back to book as I had a frozen screen, they weren't available. It was like 30 seconds later. Are they really having a prooblem? From Manchester they are not offering that good of prices... 144 each way but NS. They are holding them for 24 hrs so should I just book it or call that custom relations number? Oh this is making me cry..... I dont know what to do.

I'm surprised at the fares that I am seeing for Hartford and Providence to Orlando.

I am not going to book right away, I'm going to keep checking.

I've never paid more than $200 RT for any flight to Orlando, with the average being around $175...

Not holding out any hope for the $116 RT I got on SW last year in September....

Keeping my fingers crossed......
