Southwest Boarding Passes the earliest they can be printed

When is the earliest you can print your SW boarding passes. Is it 12:00am the day of departure, or is it exactly 24 hours ahead of your scheduled departure time?

24 hours. I know this because we went to a local McDonald's to get out passes-no internet at our resort. This was on Saturday, Oct 29th. So it's 9:05am, our flight leaves at 9:05am Sunday, why can't we check in? It occurs to us a few minutes later-daylight savings time ends tomorrow-so it's 25 hours until our flight. Sure enough, at 10:05 we could get our boarding passes. I wonder how many people will be suprised in spring when the clocks go forward?
