I booked on 2/19 for 8/18 to 8/26. By noon the price had gone up. I am very happy with what we paid considering we are flying non stop and don't have to pay for bags. the other airlines couldn't touch the price we're paying.

I booked for August 22-29 and got a pretty good airfare. Southwest doesn't offer nonstop from DTW for those dates (or maybe for any dates, not sure). But the connection in ATL always works out okay. Somewhat oddly, there *is* a nonstop from Flint/Bishop, but the outbound time isn't that great plus I'd probably be up the river in the event of cancellation at such a small airport.

I booked our DLR flights :) 3 r/t from Den to SNA came to $157 total out of pocket after redeeming miles, gift cards from reward sites and Ebay $.

We're planning to go the first full week in August. The cheapest I've found is about $360 round trip from Chicago.

It's been a long time since we've flown but this seems high to me. Since gas prices have gone down so much since DH agreed to fly, I'm afraid he will say that we should drive. I don't want to spend 4 days in a van!
