Just heard from Southwest Airlines (via Facebook):
Southwest Airlines announced today it will serve Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) with eight daily nonstops flights, six to Chicago Midway and two to St. Louis beginning Sunday, March 27, 2011.
So for those who thought MCO was in the mix -- I guess it wasn't.
But, I do know for a fact that SWA offers connecting flights at both MDW and STL to MCO (for those who don't mind flying a longer route for a lower fare, or something like that).
But then again, this may be a preliminary thing, since both MDW and STL are large Southwest cities.
