Southwest and AirTran...BOOOOOO!!!

I would wait to book & see what the flights look like then. I wait until I get a seat sale email from Airtran or SW & then book. We're heading out Sept 18-26.

I HATE that Airtran was sold to Southwest!!! I refuse to fly SW because they don't offer Business Class. I may have to waste close to $700.00 in credit that I have with Airtran if I can't get at least one more trip in after April.

We have our flights down booked through Airtran but were waiting for the flights back home to drop cause they were 144.00 each one way...checked today and they are 467.00 each one way! I sure hope this drops.

I've waited a bit but since the takeover from SW, both airline's prices have been non-competitive. I've checked my dates for BUF-MCO and they usually hovers around $123/way. I finally caved in on Air Transat from YYZ-MCO for $340 w/tax. It's non-stop, 6am flight from YYZ and 10am from MCO on the way back. So I figured, no drive down to buffalo and park for a week, it's probably a better deal w/o the hassle in the end.
