Southwest Allowing Rebookings Today

Just saw on the Southwest website that anyone traveling today may rebook their flight for another day at the same rate. Way to go Southwest! This is a terrible time and travelers will be delayed big time today. The least number of people flying today will speed up the security lines. It must be a mess for the people who arrived with their carry on full of their toiletries. We fly tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Southwest will also let you fly standy, at least today, without having to pay the fare difference. Might help if you clear security faster than expected.

WARNING You can't bring prohibited items like toothpaste on the plane even if you bought them on the other side of security, airside.
