Is there any website that has past dates of when southwest has posted one of their lower fare specials?
I'm looking for a price break on December flights.

I find SWA is one of the harder airlines to truly fare monitor. I book fares all the time (handle travel for my work) and wish there was a better alert system for when SWA fares rise and drop.

If someone knows of one, please post!

No guarantees - especially if you're traveling during Thanksgiving or Christmas - but Southwest tends to run anniversary fares in late June or early July. You can keep a watchful eye out for those. But I also suggest signing up for their Click 'N Save newsletter. They email their sales via the newsletter on a regular basis.
