Both were great.

We have never flown Southwest, but for $119 each R/T PVD to MCO, why not. I was nervous about not having assigned seats, but we were always able to set together, even when we had "C" passes. No problems with the flights, on time and with no problems.

We used Dollar car rental, again "piece of cake" I had signed up for dollar's fast lane program and had ressies for a compact car $159 for the week, including taxes and stuff, they had sent us a coupon for an upgrade and they upgraded the car to a dodge stratus. When we arrived at mco, there were no lines at all, but then again, it was at 8 pm. The drop off was easy too, the drop off signs were clearly marked and we pulled in, they checked the car out and we were off.

Thanks for all your tips from this board.

We have never flown southwest. I am planning on using them for our trip in May. Do they not have assigned seats? We have 2 little girls, we need them... thanks...amy

As a cost saving measure, Southwest has never had assigned seats. It sounds a lil sketchy, but in reality, it still ends up working out fine. Southwest is very accommodating with families, however, I doubt you'll have any problems at all anyways.

If the girls are 4 and under, they will allow you to preboard with the immediate family (ie: father, mother and sibs.)
