Southwest Airline Question

I have already booked my airfare for my trip to WDW. May 3rd, I fly out of BWI. I have a "promotional fare" from southwest. In the fine print, it says, "Seats are limited and won't be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods." I wasn't worried at first, but now I am wondering if this means I could show up at the airport and not have a seat on the plane? Or does this just mean that Southwest wont offer these cheap fares sometimes. Or do they overbook the flight and the last people to check in don't get a seat?

I guess I just want to know what to expect when I get to the airport. Can anyone help me?

that means that that fare may not always be available. They won't bump you simply because you bought a promo fare. I've never been on an overbooked SW plane (not to say it doesn't happen) but I have seen people's seats given away to standbys because they didn't check in 10min before takeoff.

The above post sums it up perfectly. You bought a special price ticket that may or may not occur again- but you have the ticket and they won't displace you for someone else. Try to check in on-line 24 hours ahead to get an "A" boarding group.

I flew SWA for the first time this past March- always using Airtran out of BWI. I wasn't looking forward to the bus/movie theatre like boarding, but it was a lot easier than I anticipated. I think the seats are slightly larger and the planes quieter than Airtrans. Just get your boarding group 24 hours in advance and you'll be fine. Have a nice trip.
