If you've been stalking the airlines for a deal and have Southwest Airlines available, check to see if they have a deal for you. I've been checking airfare for December 7 - 13 from Charlotte for 3 passengers. We had a credit from an earlier cancelled trip and the fares had been over $300 more than our credit. Today it was only $84 over our credit so I booked. I'm stoked! :yay:

You just saved me 5000 points! Thank you so much!

For non-frequent flyers, one of the best parts about booking with points is that there is no reason to wait to buy. You just buy and keep searching for reductions and grab your non-expiring point refunds. I rarely fly, so I always lose the expiring credit refunds when paying with cash.

How do I rebook? One of my dates dropped and I want to rebook.

View your reservation, click something like Change my reservation. Then repick the same flight and check out. Before you confirm, it will show you your balance to use on the purchase and any credit you'd earn.

I was able to finally book my flight for December. I called Disney to back up my date by one day - and I couldn't believe they had it. Still with Free Dining too! I saved almost $300 on the flight out (for 3 people) I'm so excited!!

There are many days in December that are down to $99. The sale is only good till Thursday though.

Unfortunately, they raised the prices out of Milwaukee. We bought our tickets two weeks ago at $200 less than what they are now (total price for all six of us). I keep checking though because you just never know!

I got all excited when I saw this thread, but our Jan. flights are the same prices. No discount for us. But now I'm thinking we should book soon, because I'm worried they will go UP soon.

Just booked my son's Christmas flight home from grad school for 4,560 points ROUND TRIP :cool1:!!

This is a huge new freedom! My one ticket to and from ca went from 21000 to 16000. Now I will have enough for another half trip!
