Just booked on Southwest for September flying out of Buffalo...$49 each way!!

Get it while you can!!!! :earsboy:

We want to go in October, hopefully those will come out soon.

was this on their website or using a discount travel site? Could you give me the web address that you used please. Thanks!

A lot of the earlier flights in the day, especially N/S are "unavailable". We booked our Aug trip on AirTran a few weeks ago because the best SWA had come up with $98 each way. After seeing this today, I went and plunked in our dates, just to make me crazy ... for going down, the only internet fare avail was getting us into MCO at 9:30PM. So now I'm not feeling so bad about booking AirTran, even though it's costing us about an extra $100 US for 2 of us.

We paid $79 each way in Jan (booked last Aug), and some DIS'ers got the exact same dates and flights for $29 each way - these rates came out in about December.

Good luck everyone trying to get the flights you want!

the 29$ rate was a promotional rate to celebrate the addition of one of their new routes......although it would be nice to see that again, it would be a real long shot .....115$ rt seems to be the base line for florida the last couple of year

we had almost given up on seeing that since the most recent fares have been hovering around 125$ one way (with the lowest being offered on ding between 88$ and 100$ one way )

SWA Experts:

Does anyone think that a $49 fare could possibly be available MCO-BUF Jan 7/06? We are flying BUF-MCO Dec 18 and I doubt it will be cheap then since that is consdiered Christmas season (it was last year anyway with a lot of schools getting out on the 17th and fares were high for that day). DH is flying MCO-BUF Dec 31 and I'm sure we will have to pay full price for his flight but I am wondering if we might get a good price for me, DD, and DS for MCO-BUF Sat Jan 7 since this is consdiered low season?

Any thoughts?
Thank you
Suzy V.

I missed it! I can't believe I've been watching my stupid Ding! for months and yesterday I missed it.

Now for my October dates $123 Buf - Orl
$99 on the way home but crapy times. ARGH  !!!!!!!!!!!
Total for 4 $957 US. This is over the $1000 CDN. The last 3 x we've flown to Orlando it's never been $1000 in fact it's been closer to $800.

It wasn't on my Ding! It was an email I received about system wide fares so that's actually how I missed it. Now I'm depressed :(

Are you saying it was only September flights at the $49 fare? I interpreted the schedule to mean that the October flights were all booked up at the $49 fare price and only $99, $123, $125 cheaper price fares were still available. Am I wrong? I'd love to be :) b/c that means some hope still for those cheaper flights?

"oh please...I do believe in pixie dust, I do believe in pixie dust, I do believe in pixie dust"

The fares are/were valid August 18 through September 29, 2005. Maybe another sale like this will come out for your October trip. :wizard:

In the meantime, I am thrilled to be flying from Nashville to Orlando for $39/each way!! :Pinkbounc :jumping1:

Oh Yippee!! There's hope for me yet! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: SO I'm thinking perhaps around Aug 5 there will be a seat sale for Sept 18 - Oct 29 flights @ $49???????????
