I just about can't stand it anymore! Today is a somewhat pleasant and overcast 77 degrees here in central Mississippi. By Sunday, it's supposed to get up to 88 degrees - and all of us from the South know how that'll feel by the time the humidity is kickin'! Ugh!
I'm dreading this weekend since we have no air conditioning at the moment! Hubby is putting in a call to the landlord (who also happens to be my aunt) ASAP!
Now, you would think at 80 degrees one wouldn't need air conditioning - correct? Well, the former tenant in our apartments painted the windows shut! It's going to be a long, miserable summer if we don't get this taken care of soon!
Just had to gripe somewhere. Thanks for listening! This Mississippi heat is ALMOST enough to make me want to move north for the summer! LOL

Anyway, I would much rather have heat and humidity and hurricanes than go back north with the snow and the cold!!

We have a summer place in NC and I plan to stay through the summer.
In my opinion, FL was *never* intended for human occupation. Let's let the snakes, mosquitoes and gators have it back!
