Southern Manitoba dissers - super flight deal

Alligiant Air out of Fargo - flies to Sanford, direct.
Has dates in April where the flight down AND return is 29.0 each way. After taxes and fees, for a family of 4 to leave on April 17 (a Friday) and returning the following Friday (24th) it is 360.00 american!!!!!
If you are debating a cheap trip - I'd check it out!!!

I think Sanford airport is about an hour northeast of Orlando airport. For that price, rent the car and drive!!!

It's supposed to be about an hour away from the resort - give or take 15 minutes depending on traffic.

There is NO DME, so you can rent a car, or it's recommended to take a town car - I think it's around 200 round trip plus tip, but if you work the codes right, you can get a rental car for less than that. Taxi's are supposed to be wicked pricey from Sanford.

OH my word. I haven't heard of that airline before but boy will that come in handy sometime! WOW. Are they small planes that you are on or a good size? (I get sick on really small planes.) I didn't see many days left for the $29 deal but WOW OH WOW.

Flights from Minneapolis direct to Orlando are also very cheap compared to flying direct from Winnipeg. $280 Canadian return including taxes. Only an 8 hour drive from Winnipeg. Saving about $800 for two people including the gas to get to Minneapolis and the hotel to stay one night in Minneapolis.

My DH and I flew Allegiant to Vegas out of Fargo last September. It was fine, a regular no-frills airline. they nickle and dime for everything (seat selection, checked bags) but we calculated the all costs, including exchange, and it was still far cheaper than anything else.

We flew return to Vegas for $250 for BOTH of us. I'm going again with some GF's next month with Allegiant out of Grand Forks. Parking for the week was cheap, $35.
