any advice of excursions or what to do in the following ports: Aruba, Barbados, St Kitts, San Juan
open to DCL excursions & on your own excursions, mildly active & less than $125/pp. I think we'll skip out on Martinique port.
TIA

we were on the 10 night last year we have four teenagers and an 80yr old aunt so some of the islands we split up
Aruba 4x4 Natural Pool Adv was excellent, very rough terrain lots of fun Natl Wonders of Aruba - Aunt went on this with one teenager and they both liked it, this year just taking taxi to beach.
St. Kitts road Quads which some are doing again this year, also last yr Aunt and one teen went on Essential St. Kitts w/ Fairview, both enjoyed. Teen liked it so much he is going on another this yr, Scenes of St. Kitts

Barbados never been there, taking a private van to accommodate all ages
San Juan been there a few times, just walked to forts and around town

All our excursions are thru Disney, may be cheaper to do on your own, we fear missing the boat

Hope this helps, there are also two FB groups

Doing that itinerary next month. 5 and 10 year old boys dictate our excursions.

Aruba: beach day. Still debating between DCL excursion to Arashi or Palm Beach on our own

Barbados: catamaran snorkeling with Calypso charters

Martinique: probably banana plantation. Bat cave sold out and too young for mangrove kayaking which would be first choice

St kitts: beach day. Probably carambola beach club on our own

San Juan: forte on our own. I’m pretty excited for that one.

In Aruba we did Aruba Natural Pool Horseback Riding Tour booked on our own. We really enjoyed it.
In San Juan we did the forts on our own. We had fun just exploring on our own.

Aruba was amazing and very Americanized...we walked around town and then took a city bus to Eagle beach $1.50 - it was amazing!! I would strongly recommend getting off the ship in matrinique. We do a lot of research and everything we read said stay on the boat... rude people, industrial port, blah blah blah. Our friends stayed aboard while we got off ' just to see' and it wasn't like anything we read on here or on tripadvisor. Very nice straw type market in the port area and the people were just fine! I wish we had been more open to an excursion there. San Juan is very walkable on your own and beautiful as well - love the southern islands!

We went to Barbados on our honeymoon and did a catamaran trip with Silver Moon Cruises - https://silvermoonbarbados.com/catamaran-cruises/

They only take 12 people and it was amazing. The crew was nice, the stops were tons of fun including swimming with sea turtles and a beautiful beach stop.

In San Juan I would just take a cab or an Uber to old San Juan. You can walk around and see the beautiful architecture, go to the fort, fly a kite and eat a snowcone if you’ve got kids, get some local food for lunch and get back on the boat.

No experience with St. Kitts or Aruba yet.

I did the Segway tour in Old San Juan and it was really fun! (We departed from San Juan and I did it the day before departure.) If you have time the
Bioluminescence
Bay tour is amazing!

sadly, silver moon was fully booked (and that was what I really wanted to go on, willing to splurge the $$ for it too).
i'm trying my luck with calypso cruises & cool runnings..sigh, guess this is what i get for doing my research & bookings so late in the game :(
Aruba-we'll probably head to eagle beach for some beach time

still doing research for st kitts & martinique

can june 30th come sooner?
