Southern California Resident ticket

I'm hoping someone can help me out. We are coming from out of state, already purchased tickets and hotel. A family member wants to meet us at Disneyland one of the days we are there. They are Southern California residents and I've heard there is a discounted price for Southern California residents. Where can they purchase the ticket and what is the cost? I haven't been able to find anything. Also on a side note, are there any discounts for senior citizens?

Nothing has been announced in regards to SoCal resident discounts (except the AP's), you might hear about one on January 9th, after the Christmas Season ends.

No Senior citizen discounts at Disneyland. Knott's does offer a Junior and Senior discount, but it is basically the same price as the 3 day in advance ticket purchased online from Knott's.

Thanks! Also is the ticket price the same at the park if she waits till the last minute to buy a one day ticket for $95?

No senior discount. And the So Cal Resident tickets aren't year round, they just offer them from time to time usually in the so-called 'off season'. They aren't available now.

Ticket prices for one day are based on the day 'type'; Value, Regular, or Peak in ascending order. I was told that the type of day can change after you buy your ticket and you will have to pay the difference if the day is upgraded and there is NO refund if the day is downgraded.
