I was thinking about buying the Southern California City Pass for $247. Included is a 3 day park hopper to Disneyland California Adventure Park. But I'm wondering, if we're staying on property and purchase that city pass, will we be able to go to extra magic hours??

Of course you still get to go to the MM! In fact since you are staying on property you get to go to all the MM's that happens while you are there! :thumbsup2

Just like Crazyduck said as many days you are there and they have MM you cant go to them :thumbsup2

I wonder if Costco sells annual passes for less? I am figuring no.

Gisele, as far as I know, you can only by AP's from Disney.

We got our 2007 SCCP's at Costco for the $217. It was a great bargain when you added up the value of the passes. We upgraded to AP's, and they credited us $189 for the Disney pass.

We used every ticket in them, that's what made it such a good deal. :goodvibes

Scratch that, just read in another post that there are Costco's in California that are selling the AP's! Sorry, I thought I knew what I was talking about! :lmao:

Am I understanding correctly that you can buy the City Pass and use that 3 day park hopper to upgrade to an annual pass? We are going in Dec and buying Premium Annual Passes, but we were thinking about hitting some other places also since we have 2 weeks blocked out - we already have zoo annual passes, but not Sea World or Universal Studios, so it might be worth it to spend a little more and get to go to those 2 parks.

Yes. When we went in May, we used the DLR 3-day hopper from the SCCP to upgrade myself to a premium AP and DH and DS's to Deluxe. We were all given $189 towards the AP pass for that, which meant we paid $28 a piece for a day each at USH, SD Zoo, and Sea World! It was a great deal. :goodvibes

Awesome! Thank you for that info! Now I have to decide if we want to do the other parks, or try to find those Costco APs with the $50 gift cards. Hmmmm....
