Southern California City Pass question

We bought the SoCal CityPass for our trip starting tomorrow (!!!!). We will be at DL/DCA next Wednesday and Thursday (arriving Tuesday night from San Diego). For the SD attractions, we just need to show them our print out of the SoCal citypass ticket. I thought I read somewhere that we need to do something different at DL/DCA? We will be in early evening on Tuesday so we could go to one of the parks Tuesday night if needed to check-in or whatever they needed us to do.

Anyone have any experience with this? THANKS! So excited to leave the dreary East Coast for sunny SoCal tomorrow!!!

You take the CityPass to the turnstile and the CM will hand you a 3 day hopper and take your picture. If you do that on Tuesday, Tuesday will be day 1, even if you don't enter the park. If you're only going Wednesday and Thursday, so only planning to use 2 days, you could go Tuesday night to get your tickets. But it's not so time consuming on Wednesday morning that you have to do it the night before, either.
