Southern California AP Certificate

Does anyone know if I could go in the park on Saturday (blackout day) to exchange it for the AP at the Disney bank? I purchased the certificate in advance.

Is the certificate the same as an AP and are you wanting to upgrade to a deluxe AP? If so, you can do that, but they will charge you the $30 blockout charge which can be applied to the upgrade if you are going that same day.
