I know this has probably been answered a gazillion times but I can't get the Search to work. It just sits there...with an annoyed dog looking at me.

I see that the SO Cal Annual Passport is 154.00 and a 3 Day Park Hopper is 159.00 So, we figured why not get the annual passport. The dates we are going are not blocked out so even if we don't go back this year, we are saving a few bucks. We live 5 hours away so it won't always be convenient with the blocked out dates.

So, can I ask a few questions. This is the 220 day Annual Passport for 159.00.

Does the A/P work like a park hopper---can go between the 2 parks during the same day?

When does the A/P expire? Is it one year from the date you purchase or Dec 31st 07?

What comes with the A/P? I see something about 10% off at some dining places. Anything else? Any Early Entry days?

If you purchase them online/by mail, do you have to check in someplace special to activate them or can you just head into the park the morning you get there?

Did I read someplace that you go and get a photo taken to be put on the A/P?

Thanks all! :flower3:

Yes, APs are parkhoppers

What comes with the A/P? I see something about 10% off at some dining places. Anything else? Any Early Entry days?No early entry but 10% off at most dining locations.

If you purchase them online/by mail, do you have to check in someplace special to activate them or can you just head into the park the morning you get there? Enter the park and go to the Bank on Main Street sometime that day to convert to the actual annual pass.

Did I read someplace that you go and get a photo taken to be put on the A/P? Yes, this takes place at the bank.

Thanks all! :flower3:

Hope this helps!

Yes. I am 93514 (Bishop, CA) which qualifies. Inyo County just north of San Bernardino County and east of Kern County.

Okey dokey. :) I worried 'bout ya getting to the gates and finding out the hard way.

Actually, your AP will expire one year from when you activate your pass. Just be sure the CM at the bank enters it correctly. We bought our AP's 2-3 weeks before using them, told this to the CM, and she made sure the expiration date was based on our first day's visit and not the purchase date.

Thanks! This is good to know!
