My confirmation Email says I need to print out the tickets at 12:01 Am... on the day of flight. Sooooo my computer is broken so I don't have access to a printer. Besides work (which is where I am typing from now). My Flight leaves Providence at 10:30 so we will leave my house aroung 7. Any suggestions?

I bought my plane tickets online through southwest.com I think they mean you CAN print your ticket by midnight the day of your flight, but you can go to the counter to get a hard copy.

You CAN print your boarding pass anytime after midnight up until one hour before the flight. Or you can just get your boarding pass at the airport. Note: Southwest lets you print the boarding pass, not tickets. They don't use paper tickets if you booked online, you just need your confirmation number at the airport.

So what is the benefit of printing them up before you get to the airport....

I guess I am just confused/nervous about the whole "ticketless" travel thing

After watching one episode of the SouthWest TV show I am getting EXTREMELY nervous!!!!!

SWA doesn't assign seats; they assign people to board in groups of A, B, or C. Some people print out the boarding pass at home (as early as 12:01) to give themselves a better chance of being assigned to the A group, which will board immediately after the pre-boards (people with very small kids and those needing special assistance).

Before we could print out boarding passes at 12:01, some people got to the airport 2-3 hours early to increase the chance of getting in Group A. No matter which group you're in, you'll get a seat (unless there's an overbooking situation, but please waste time worrying about that).

You can check-in on line at 12:01, and be assigned a boarding group, but you don't have to print your boarding pass then.
you can print it at one of the self-serve kisoks at the airport, or get it at the check-in counter.

I use the self-serve kiosk or the Sky Cap at PVD if I don't have access to printing on-line. I get there 1.5-2 hours before my flight and usually get an A boarding pass.

HTH!!! :teeth:
