Sounds Dangerous $%#&@^$

I thought it was OK - not great and not horrible. I LOVED the stuff you could do with sound & sound effects after the show.

When I went to the show in August I could have sworn the CM running the auditorium was hearing impaired or deaf - she sounded just like Marlee Matlin. It was just strange to me - a show all about sound being introduced by a deaf person.

I hated Sounds Dangerous, not because it was boring or anything but because it was in total darkness and that completely freaked me out :scared: I'm not normally afraid of the dark but the complete darkness of it made me feel incredibly claustrophic. Once it was over, I had to get out of there and I never even noticed the little sound booths. That, I probably would have liked.

I have listened to radio dramas, books on tape etc and have enjoyed them. Of course it wasn't pitch black when I did it. :)

We like it, too! My kids are big into hands-on type science museums, so they spent forEVer in the post-show area.

I haven't been to this attraction since... 1998..or 2000? I don't remember much of it, but I remember the buzzing bees. I thought it was an alright attraction but nothing that I rushed back to. It definitely isn't on par with the other attractions in the park. Perhaps I will try it again on the next trip. :)

This wasn't a favorite in our family either. No one hated it, but the reaction was not overwhelming. My husband and I are Drew Carey fans, but weren't too impressed with the production quality (not just the fact that it's audio-only). Certainly not an attaction that we'll wait 60 minutes for again!

60 minute WAIT?

Do you mean that you DID wait 60 minutes to see/hear it before?

Oh I am with the camp that has never done it in all my trips. I felt my decision was validated when I heard a cm tell a family to skip it because it was so bad.

Love tower of terror, love sounds dangerous! Don't know why everything is "lame" or "boring" if it isn't the E-ticket of the century. I go to WDW because of all the different type things there are to do. Don't need to see this every trip, but always enjoy it when we do. Gentle might be better than "lame". :)

I spent the whole time in SD thinking that someone was surely going to stab me, choke me, or accost me in some other way while it was so pitch black. I mentioned it to my best friend, and she admitted to thinking the same thing! Hated this attraction!

I do believe it was Thanksgiving day last year.

We love all things Disney, but this is one show, that once was enough. It's really the only show at the World that we feel that way about.
