SE is one of those rides I have to do multiple times while at WDW, mainly for nostalgic reasons. But I could not hear a single word that was being said on that ride last fall. I don't remember this problem in the past but it could be because I was much younger then. Is this a problem for everyone or was I just in a bad ride vehicle with poor sound?

We rode last week and had no issues. It may have been a problem with your ride vehicle?

Yea had to of been your ride vehicle. The speakers are loud and you can hear them pretty clearly

I've usually had no problem. One time when I did, I told the CM at the end of the ride and he just told us to hop back on in a new car before leaving the unloading area and we rode again right away. Plus is was neat riding through that short corridor between unload and load.

On the way down in Spaceship earth last summer we noticed the music was louder than the voice. Didn't detract but was noticeable.

The music and sound effects play in the "room," but the narration plays in your vehicle.
If your vehicle has a sound problem, the narration can be lost or too low to understand.
So, as has been said, you could ride again in a different vehicle and likely hear everything better.
I like the idea of asking the CM at unloading if you can get back on another car and go around again with no wait.

I didn't hear much at all when we rode in February. Will try again next trip hope to hear more.
