Hi everyone, im off to orlando in April and staying at Cabana bay resort at Universal. A rd going to Magic Kingdom 4 days after arriving and using mears shuttle I think to get there. As it will be out first visit to a Disney Park, we will have to pick up the tickets on the day as booked the tickets through Virgin Holidays. We also have a reservation at 9:55 at Cinderellas Royal table. Will we have enough time to pick out tickets up and go through security and go to put reservation? We don't want to miss out reservation. I also need to find where to pick he tickets up from!

I hope I am clear enough, thanks for the help,

Ross

seems that if your tickets are at guest services, you should have enough time to get them, and get down Main Street USA to CRT in time for your 955 reservation. If you are not picking up your tickets at guest services, and it is somewhere else other than there, it might be close, depending on where.

You should. What time does the shuttle leave Cabana Bay for MK?

It depends on what time the shuttle picks you up. if the shuttle picks you up by about 8:15, you'll be fine (assuming the shuttle doesn't have more stops to make.)

Remember, meals at CRT are prepaid. If you miss it you won't get your money back, and that's a lot of money to lose. I would take a cab rather than risking the shuttle - you'll have much more control.

If you decide to take a cab, take it to the CR rather than the MK. It is an easy walk from the CR to the MK entrance. A cab to the MK will leave you off at the TTC and from there you will need to take either the monorail or a ferry across to the MK entrance.

Thank you all for your useful information.

I have not yet booked the shuttle service yet, I will book it through the Virgin concierge who operate a shuttle service to which I believe are Mears (I think someone said it was but I do not know how true that is) and apparently the shuttle that I would want to use will be getting to the park an hour before opening time. I am not to fussed about the other days just this one as I have an important question to ask my girlfriend. I don't really want to be late for it, especially as we get priority seating at the window!

Thanks again,

Ross.

If the shuttle gets to the park an hour before opening, you will go to the ticket, customer relations, will call window outside the park gate and have no trouble getting to CRT at 9:55am.

Excellent, thank you. I will ask Virgin before I go where I do pick up our Disney and Universal tickets from as they have not mentioned it to me yet.

Thanks again,

Ross.

As someone else already said, if you're dropped off by the shuttle before park opening and can grab your tickets at Will Call, you should have no trouble walking down Main Street USA to the castle before 9:55.

Good luck - I hope you get the answer you're looking for when you ask your question. :)

That's great thank you. When I do pick my tickets up at Will Call, how long does it take to get the tickets sorted and then through security?

I just need to take the ticket number and passport or ID for the tickets if I am correct?

Thanks, I hope she says yes otherwise it will be a little awkward for the rest of the holiday haha!

Thank you all again for your help, it has put a little more ease on my reservation which to be fair will be a stressful one anyway!!

Ross.

1. Once at the Guest Relations, Will Call or ticket booth window (any of those will work for your tickets) the tickets can be dispensed in under 2 minutes.
Depending on the number of guests ahead of you, security should take less than 5 minutes (maybe a lot less.)

2. Yes. Legal photo ID.

As was mentioned, I would not mess with a shuttle.
I would take a cab to the Contemporary Resort and make the 7 minute walk to the MK gates.
There are ticket booths, Will Call and Guest Relations windows just outside the MK gates. (#9, lower map.) Any of those will work for picking up your tickets.

OTOH, if you DO take a shuttle, you will be let out at the TTC/MK parking lot area. (Not at the MK gates.)
TTC offers its own set of ticket booths, Will Call and Guest Relations windows.
You could stop there and get your tickets, if you like.
THEN, you must board a monorail or ferry boat and ride to the MK gates.

That's great thank you. I should make it through to the castle in time then. My girlfriend also wants to pick up some Minnie mouse ears so hopefully will have time for that before our reservation too.

Thanks again,

Ross.

Brilliant, thank you. I may print these maps off so I don't get lost! what time do the ticket booth or will call desks open? the same time as the park?
