Sorta emergency, but shorts in DL?

DH shorts are ripping in the front. We are in DL and don't want to leave in case they close the parks due to capacity.

So do they sell shorts anywhere in here? We can't seem to find any?

If Emporium doesn't have any I would check in Adventureland.

Try Disney Clothiers on Main Street. It's on the same side of the street as Market House. There is a small men's clothing section in there with things like polo shirts, pajama pants, boxer shorts. I can't remember if I have seen shorts there are not. I don't remember seeing shorts in that Critter Country store near the Winnie the Pooh and Splash Mountain exits, but I can see how pp's comment makes sense. The other places that sell more ordinary looking clothing so might have shorts would be the big shop in Adventureland or the big shop in Frontierland. If you go to any one of these places and they don't have what you are looking for, you can always hope you find a friendly CM and ask him/her to call one of the other shops and ask if they carry any shorts so you don't have to keep traipsing from shop to shop.

On Main Street, there is a men's section, next to the fruit carts. Sorry, can't remember the name.

In Adventureland there is a store that also sells non disney clothes like roxy quicksilver etc. I bet they have men's shorts

Two long sleeved shirts, tied around the waist to cover the tear. One for the front and one for the back. If you don't find shorts...
Good Luck

I'm curious do you not trust that the CMs or stores know if they sell shorts? I would think it is easier to just ask them than ask people not there.

I'm not the OP, but I can speak from experience that the CMs do not always know. Once, we needed a pair of child's pants and were sent to 4 different stores, none of which actually had them. And another time, DD was looking for something specific and we asked in a bunch of stores and none had them, nor knew where to get them, but gave suggestions. I actually think asking on here was a pretty good idea!

I have to agree. We were an the hunt for girl's sneakers and couldn't find them in several stores, so we asked a CM. she said they called every store and none carried them. A little bit later we walked into the store in Frotierland and there they were. They were sizes incorrectly, but they had a bunch of them. We ended up getting adult shoes and stuffing the toes a little. An expensive, and time consuming, lesson to teach Mommy to pay more attention when packing!

The last trip, we had a similar problem. DD10 brought her new sketchers twinkle toes (not the most comfy of tennies) and her feet were killing her halfway through the morning. He feet are about half an inch smaller than mine and about a quarter of an inch smaller than my sisters. We did a three-way switch, I wore the (snug, but not too bad) twinkle toes, my sister wore my (loose, even on me) mary janes and DD10 wore my sister's sporty mary jane sketchers. (When we got back to the room for our afternoon break, she put on her Merrell sandals, and wore those the rest of the trip.) Next trip, I'm going to pay more attention to what footwear DD10 is packing.

I HARP about footwear with everyone going on the trip. And I start "HARPING" about 4 months out.
Just ask anyone that's gone with me...
Looking for such an essential item during a trip can be a challenge.

To OP glad you were able to find a pair of shorts.

..aw footwear.....I tell all my guests on my Disneyland trips that footwear is really important, start breaking in those shoes now, in July, for that Christmas trip.....7 out of 10 Disney guests that travel with me have footwear problems....of course none of those folks have spent a month on the Pacific Crest trail either or standing in the same spot for months on end as a vocation. That is why I like the neighborhood wal-mart down the BLVD, great for foot care supplies.

As for CMS answering any of my question correctly or purposefully, not such good luck!!!!
