I didn't know it was against the rules to post about my forums. Anyone know if it's okay to put the link in my sig?

You could ask one of the moderators or Webmasters if it's OK to put the link in your signature I'm so sorry you were jumped on, yes it is against the rules, but it would've been just as easy to tell you so than it was to jump on you and call you a troll

sorry that that happened to you. it gets a little ridiclious in here sometimes, i'm beginning to get a little more than annoyed with "omg you didn't follow the rules now you must pay!!!" attitude around here.

you could PM one of the mods and they could help you......if you get a good one lol. most of them are very nice and willing to help. good luck!

I sent you (two) PMs, LilIrish. It sent twice. But the point is, I sent it.

Sometimes the DIS seems to have a lag problem where I press, and press, and press, and its slow and won't post/send, then all of a sudden, I've posted or sent twice or five times.

I'm glad to hear encouragement. It's very hard getting a forum kicked off; I was just looking for members. The DIS is generally made up of nice people, whom I think are GREAT, so that's why I posted it.

i got introuble for something stupid too (my sig hints at it) so i know how you feel.

although, i did end up going onto another forum to talk DIS and other intrests, and i must say, it's much nicer than this one and people don't freak out about stupid little things.

The people who hassled me didn't seem too understnad that my boards are a different topic. I would understand if I was posting about a DIS-esque boards, but mine are pretty different, so they were awfully harsh on me, and probably ignorant too.

Our Guidelines for Posting spell out the rules for linking to other sites. Here's the section dealing with links:
