We are finally taking the plunge...offer and acceptance on 200 OKW points.

We want to use the points in mid-May of 2004, but the sale isn't likely to become final until early December.

Is it likely to be difficult to get reservations at OKW if we are not able to reserve until December?

I don't think you should have a problem.
However you can always rent now and sell later .

You shouldn't have a problem at all. OKW is the largest DVC resort and unless you want a GV you will have no problem with your request for May. We have booked in fewer months than that and have always gotten what we wanted at WDW. It is sometimes harder to get at HH or VB because they are smaller.

We closed at OKW last December and went last May for our first trip. There was plenty of availability. Have fun!

Unless you want a 3 BR Grand Villa, you should be fine.

We closed in mid-Feb this year, and were able to book a 2 bdrm at OKW for May. Then when my in-laws backed out at the last minute, we were able to switch to a 1-bdrm at OKW less than a month out. You shouldn't have too much trouble. Welcome Home!
