Sorry to bother you with more Pop Warner

I am sure it has been said already, but I can't find it with a search. Does anyone know the dates for Pop Warner 2006? Thanks!

National youth football/cheerleading leagues. They have their tournaments at WDW every December.

Couldn't find any 2006 dates on their website but it's usually over the first weekend in December.

I was there during this year's Pop Warner for the very first time. I really didn't see that much of an effect in the crowds with the kids during the day. At the end of the day and early evening, I would see more kids. Now by late Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and especially Friday - I could tell that Pop Warner was going on. There were more kids in the parks and longer lines with and without FastPass. I do not ever plan to go again during Pop Warner. I personally had a couple of incidences that involved self-absorbed rude cheerleaders. They were so bad that I told my brother "If you ever let my nieces become cheerleaders I will have to hit you." The football players that stood in line with us, ate next to us and even rode the rides with us were excellent. I did not run into a rude young man while I was there.

Pop Warner has a website: PopWarner.com but I did not see the 2006 dates on it. They still have the 2005 calendar up !! However, they had a countdown clock running counting down 143 days until the "Banquet at WDW" !! BEWARE if you will be there in 143 days!! I have read on the boards here that the PW week is usually the first full week in December. I would move heaven and earth to not be at WDW or at least any value resort or POR when PW is there. It was complete bedlam !! We were at ASMusic and it was unbearable ! The parks had problems with behavior more so than crowds, in my opinion. I cannot even begin to count the number of times we were cut in line by the rude little brats, or had to listen to their filthy mouths. The chaperones, well, that is a whole seperate story !! However, sticking to your question about dates, avoid first week of December and check the PW website for more exact dates, if they ever get their act together and update their website !!

Yea, that was something wasn't it? I'm no prude, but I really could not believe what came out of some of those kids mouths...and these kids are
just 8-14yrs!
