But I have another lens question.

Does anyone one here know how the Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD VC does on the long end of the zoom? I've looked at other forums, and can't find anything negative about the lens when it's out to 250-300mm.

Anyone?

Glad you posted that review - that does NOT look like a good choice.

I think I'll ask for the Nikor 70-300mm VR for my birthday instead.
