Is it essentially a dinner reservation that gives you guaranteed seating at the HS Fantasmic show? Is there anything else to it?

Can you use the DDP for this package, or is this something that you need to pay OOP for? If you can use DDP, is it one TS or 2?

Thank you for answering my dopey questions . . .

There are no dopey questions. I strongly suggest using the Fantasmic Pacakge depending on the time of year you are going since they have severely cut down the number of shows for Fantasmic. You can dine at Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine or Brown Derby for the Fantasmic Package. You will get a ticket that will cover the number in your party at the end of the meal for reserved seating to the right of the theater for the first show that night (sometimes there are two shows; but you can only use for the first show).

Yes, you can use it with the Dining Plan. It is one table service credit for Mama Melrose & Hollywood & Vine. It is two table service credits for Brown Derby. You get an appetizer with the Fantasmic Pacakge even though you don't normally get it with the Dining Plan. We always do Mama Melrose. We've had two horrible experiences at H&V and will never go back. Brown Derby was mediocre as far as we were concerned and definitely not worth two table service credits. Hope this helps.

It is a good thing to have, especially with the cutback on Fantasmic showings, but to be clear - you will not have reserved seats, as such. What you will have is a ticket for your party which will allow you access to the reserved seating area with no guarantee that you will have a seat waiting in there if you do not arrive until very close to showtime. You'll still need to allow half an hour or so to get into the theatre and claim your seats before showtime.

Also note that all Fantasmic package dinner reservations are very early. I don't recall seeing one past 5:30 pm. Some believe that is far too early for dinner and skip booking it for that reason.

If it's too close to showtime I think they will end up filling up the "reserved" area so you do need to get there at least a half hour before showtime.
