Sorry more Mickey TV (UPDATE)

My husband ordered back on 10-10. We knew the deal was over and done with but cleaning out the file cabinet we found our order summary. WE decide to look it up and it shows shipped. Just minutes ago our local Sears called saying our TV was in but if we want it it will be about an extra $100. I just laughed and said no thanks. I can't believe they still haven't cancelled our order a month after the glitch.
 
That's why so many people got mad and Sears may have lost some customers (I know I haven't been back) not because they didn't get a TV but because of how Sears handled it, and apparently they still haven't got their act together. It took way too long for them to contact you and then spring another $100.00 into it.

I just got the cancel letter and my money back today. I did go on the 27th to pick it up. The store said no after making me wait 30-45 min. Which they did give me $20.00 gift card for my trouble. Which I gave to my Dad. So I made 20.00 bucks on the deal but would have liked my TV.

I don't shop at Sears normally and won't be doing any soon. Not because they screwed up but they just have no clue how to handle things. Even told me to be patient of getting my money back.


But in the end!!! I leave for Disney in 9 days!
 
I was just at KMart this morning and I saw a whole lot of Disney TVs, VCR, CD players, etc. I did see Pooh and Princess ones.
 

I have more to add now. My DH's Sears statement came today. We were charged twice without ever recieving a tv. We call Sears CC and they say it shows we have them and we have to take it up with the store we were supposed to pick it up at. So we call them and they say its an online issue. Online says its a store issue. This went on for about 3 hours today. But the thing that really got my DH mad was if everything was cancelled for the Mickey TV's why was our card charged on 11/4 when the TV was ordered on 10/10. After all the mess we finally got a refund and we had a manager from sears.com in tears. We were not nasty we just wanted answers about who authorized the charge. Our credit is not something we mess with. IF you never recieved a cancel notice check your statements.
 
I had an issue with getting my money back too. They told me to be patient. I told them I have been for over a month.
 
AND paying interest on it in the meantime! They are terrible
 
the funny thing, we all ordered the TVs online and to be picked up at the store, well all those TVs are now arriving in the stores and sears probably has them coming out of their ears now, maybe sears will have a discount hugh sale :rotfl:
 
I actually picked mine up from my local store about 2 weeks ago! They gave it to me no questions asked. Sorry for those that weren't able to get it at that awesome deal.
 
The credit finally posted to our account yesterday. I can't believe how they handled this matter with us.
