Hi,

My boyfriend , daughter and I are heading to Disney and June! Very excited

I had a quick question that I couldn't seem to find an answer to. We will be staying at Shades of Green and had read that since its not Disney owned that we don't qualify for the Disney Dining. In regards to not being Disney owned does that apply to the extended park hours and in park transportation? Sorry if there is an obvious answer, but this is my first trip to Disney and its a lot of information to go through lol.

Trish~ Welcome to the boards! We are headed to SOG in June as well. Although you don't qualify for the dining plan you can use both disney transportation & EMH.

Is this your 1st trip?? It is ours & we are beyond excited....well dh & I are. The kids don't know yet!!

Stacy: I went once when I was 2yrs old. Been together 3yrs and this is our first family vacation! Sooooo excited! How awesome a surprise for the kids, I would be going nuts haha. Hope you have a fantastic time! =D

1. Staying at Sog you are not eligible for any Disney Dining Plan. SoG has their opwn plan, but it is basically a disaster as they only have two restaurants and nowhere near the variety available at Disney.

2. Staying at SoG does entitle you to park entry and attraction admission during both morning and evening Extra MAgic Hours.

3. SoG does have its own buses. However, they are not as frequent as the Disney buses and they go to the Charter Bus Parking Lots and not the close-in lots.

3A. Anyone can use Disney Transportation, it is just you cannot to or from SoG using Disney Transport.

4. But the rooms are equal to the Disney Deluxe Resorts but at Value Resort prices.
