So we leave tomorrow (9/12) to fly down. I thought we dodged a bullet hurricane-wise, but now on Wunderground weather I see Invest 91!!

Not much of a poncho wearer either. I just wear Nike nylon shorts that don't hold a lot of water and dry very quickly. Flip flops... basically anything that dries quickly so I don't freeze indoors.

Stop worrying, seriously. I landed on the 5th (Hanna) and left on the 9th (Ike) and it rained once the entire trip, a 5-minute shower while we were running to our Coral Reef reservation on the 5th.

You can worry all you want and it won't change what the weather is going to do, so why bother? We were there for Fay and had a blast. The weather kept a lot of people away from the parks so lines were non-existent. The kids and I wore ponchos but DH did not and he was fine.....wet, but fine.

but I will have fun, there's always something interesting to find/do
