Sorry Another Use Year and Borrowing Question

I am planning a grand gathering vacation in June 2011.
My Use Year is Sept.
I have no points left in 2009.
I have 8 points left in 2010.
I have all of my points in 2010 which will not be enough.
Can I borrow some points from my 2012 use year?

Not for any trip that ends on or before August 31, 2011. You can borrow only for a trip that takes place in immediate preceding use year. Thus Sep 2012 points can be borrowed for a trip between Sep 1, 2011 and Aug 31, 2012, but not for any trip before Sep 1, 2011.

No unfortunately you will not be allowed by MS to borrow from Sept 2012 UY allotment of points for Trip in June 2011 because that is during
your Sept 2010 Use Year
Sept 2010 UY is 9/1/2010 through 8/31/2011; you can only borrow from next upcoming UY allotment

you may use :

BANKED Sept 2009 UY allotment ( which you said you will not have )

CURRENT UY allotment which will be Sept 2010 UY points

and BORROWED Sept 2011 UY allotment of points

Maybe a transfer of points from another DVC member into your account will help to get your plans made. Best wishes

A trip in June 2011 will fall in your Sept 2010 UY (Sept 1, 2010 to Aug 31, 2011). So if you had any 2009 UY points, you could borrow them. You can use your 2010 UY points and you can borrow your 2011 UY points. But that's all you have. If you can get by with 24 more points, you can purchase one time use points from Disney to use at 7 months out for $15 a point.

Thank you all for your prompt replys. I had a strong feeling that I couldnt borrow from my 2012 UY. Looks like I will be visiting the Rent Trade Board.
