I called member services today and ordered two PAP's. I was given an order number that I was told is enough to get the actual passes at any park or Downtown Disney. I asked if I will receive a voucher in the mail or by email and was told no, just tne confirmation number. Is that the way it works?

Yes. The only way to get an actual exchange voucher would be to pay an processing fee. They really don't offer this option much and you have to know about it and really push for it to get them to do it.

Even if you get an exchange voucher, you still need to go to a Theme Park Ticket Window or a Guest Relations Location to get your actual AP or PAP so there's no real time savings in having one.

The only way that you get the exchange voucher is if you order the PAP online at the WD Store Ticket website(there's a link on MS). Once your order is processed, they email you a link from which to print your voucher. You then take it to a ticket window and get your tickets.

I ordered by phone with member services and asked if I would get an e-mail, they said no. They said just take the confirmation # to the window. They said the confirmation # is linked to my membership # if I lose it.

Is it possible to buy it now and then activate it up to December 2013, right?

I purchased 4 of these passes last week on the phone with MS. When we were done, I asked him how do I just pick up 1 ticket when I go in February since my daughter's AP has expired. The rest of us don't need them until June.

MS told me that I have to pick them all up at one time and that when I pick them up at Guest Services, all of my passes expiration date would start with the day that I pick them up. I told him that was not what I wanted and he said there was nothing he could do about it. He said I would have to call ticketing and have them split up my vouchers.

I called ticketing and they said MS "didn't know what they were talking about." She said when I pick up the tickets, the expiration date will not start until I swipe the card into a park. She told me that I could put the other 3 tickets away until I need them. I hope this is correct, it sounds right to me. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds contrary from everything I've experienced with AP's. Fine with regular park tickets but AP's start at the time of pick up from the window. Someone else posted about this type of thing and were told they could pick up the AP's as they were needed by the holders but realize you may be having to ask for a supervisor when you do the first AP redemption.

Thanks!

Hopefully someone on here has tried to do this and can give me their experience. I just want all this figured out before my trip.

I'm wondering if they will let me just pick up 1 and not all 4 at the same time. MS tells me that since they are on 1 voucher, they have to be picked up (and they will be activated) together.

What happens when you pick up a will-call reservation.

1. Th person in gh both first checks your ID and gth system will print out certificages and not live tickets.

2. Then the certificates are processed into live tickets.

3. You can interrupt the process and tell the person in the window that you only want one of the tickets activated at this time. The person will then give you the certificates for the remaining tickets.

4. Do not lose these certificates and maybe even take a picture of each back side so you have the serial numbeds on file.

Thank you!

I currently have a PAP, which was activated Nov 26, 2012. I am planning another trip in late November 2013, but may be departed from WDW before November 27. Will I be able to activate another PAP a day or two before my "old" one expires or do I have to wait until exactly Nov 27,2013. I would like to take advantage of another discounted PAP.

Yes. You can renew up to 60 days prior and 30 days after the expiration date printed on the back of your pass. The new pass would still have an expiration date based on your expiring pass.

Would it still work the same, as this would not realy be a "renewal"== I would be activating another discounted PAP for myself a day or so before the old one expires?

Two parts to this answer. One is to what you asked and the other is to what you think you asked.

1. If you are talking about the DVC Promotional $399 PAP. Having the voucher (exchange certificate or will-call) is effectively a new pass. You may activate it any time during 2013. As it is a new pass it has nothing to do with your current pass and it is not a renewal.

2. If you want to renew your current AP to a regular renewal-priced AP or PAP, go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #15-G, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

Yes, I am not speaking of a renewal. I currently have the promo PAP which will expire Nov 26, 2013 and meant to ask if I could activate another promo PAP before the one expires in November. Can one have two PAPs overlap a few days?
If I could not activate a new PAP in the same name in late November, I would not have another chance to activate it before the Dec 31, 2013 deadline.
So you are saying that I may have two activated at the same time??

You would be activating a new pass. It will be good for one year from the day you activate it.
